My main training has been in Gestalt, a humanistic integrative form of therapy. The aim of this kind of approach is to increase your awareness by focusing on your experience in the present through your feelings, thoughts and senses as well as your ways of relating to others. As your awareness expands you may begin to understand more about how you relate and how fixed patterns of behaviour may be leading you to feel dissatisfied or just not comfortable with whom you are. As you learn more about yourself you may discover that you have more choices about how to live your life than you previously thought.
