Frequently Asked Questions

What is counselling

I see counselling as a particular form of conversation where you are free to express your thoughts and feelings in a way that you might not with your family or friends. It may be that you are reluctant to talk to those closest to you because of concerns about upsetting or worrying them. Counselling enables you to grow and develop at your own pace and it can aid recovery from difficult and traumatic experiences. It can also boost your confidence and self-esteem so that you feel better equipped to deal with your life. The environment I provide to do this is safe, supportive and confidential.
