What to do next
The First Session
I usually suggest an initial meeting where we can talk through what it is that is troubling you and what you want help with. It is also an opportunity to meet each other to see if we can work together. We can decide together what might help you most, whether you want to come and focus on a specific issue for a fixed number of sessions or whether you want something more open ended that is reviewed regularly.
Session Length and Frequency
I usually see people for fifty minutes once a week at the same time at a mutually convenient time
Fees
My fee is £38.00 per session payable on the day by either cash or cheque
What about cancellations
I require two full working days notice of cancellations otherwise the full fee is payable.
What does confidential mean
Your name and address and what you say in your session are not divulged to anyone. I do consult with a supervisor to ensure that I maintain a high standard of practice but this is also confidential. There are limits to confidentiality for example if I was liable to civil or criminal court proceeding if information I had was not disclosed or if you or another person was in serious danger.
